Mentality Pink Mattes and top gloss coat

Today we are going to review the Pink Matte's by Mentality. This is a husband and wife team. It is nice to see during this day and time husband and wife will still work together. They are a upcoming indies company. I don't know too many companies out there that have as much diversity of colors as they do. Their mattes run $6.75 which is a great deal. They run different promotions sometimes. I would keep an eye out for flash sales with them too. All their prices include free shipping which is built into the price.
Now I am doing once again Skittle nails. I have a lot of this brand and I am very happy with it. If you are quick you could stamp with this too. I will let you know this is the first time I have ever used or tried matte polish. Once you do a few nails you get the hang of it. I will let you know it does dry very fast.

Let's get to our first sets. I did two sets of collages one with nails and another with bottle shots. I hope you enjoy this.

The first color is Contessa on my pinky nail. This is a very pale pink reminds me of a baby pink shade. If you add a gloss coat it will show you more of the shimmers in all of the polishes posted in this blog post.

Second color is Duchess on my ring finger. This shade reminds me of  roses my grandfather used to pick out of his yard. Beautiful soft pink but not too soft.

The third color is Empress on my middle finger. This also reminds me of  rose from a garden but of the deeper pink in a rose toward the center of it. I would call the color hot pink shade.

My index finger is next with Sorceress they call this china pink. I would say this is a pink but starting to lean toward the purple family.

Finally is a two for one. I did the Maven with top coat high gloss from Mentality
It is what I call dark pink with purple. There is shimmers in this too. This is the only nail with top coat of any kind. The top coat used on this nail is by Mentality too.

As you can see their top coat give it even more life with all the shimmers coming through.
The last photo shows the top coat in the bottle.

Please ignore the cuticles they are dry. I am currently working on that. This is the conclusion of this review of Mentality. I will say there is more to come with them. I have many more to review.  Below is the contacts or how to find more about Mentality products.

Part 2 of Treasures by Tan

This part will go over and review the lovely neutral browns holo explosion of nail polish. This polish is brought to us by  Treasures By Tan

These are all the colors for this review. As a reminder all products are bought by me through discount or blogger package.

First up is the pinky. This is Sand Dunes.

You can see the holo jumping off the nail. Here is 2 coats. I liked it better with two coats. With three would be totally opaque. I would call this a golden sand color holo. This reminds me of the beach on a sunny day.

Here is a bottle shot of Sand Dunes

The next three colors are a part of the Falling For You Collection https://www.etsy.com/listing/161375853/falling-for-you-collection?ref=shop_home_active

The ring finger is Champagne On Ice

Champagne On Ice is a beautiful neutral nail polish. This is with two coats. You could even wear one for those jobs you are not allowed alot of nail polish color. I would almost call it a mocha-champagne color. I would have to say this is one of my favorite colors I have seen. Once again you can see the holo on the nail. Please ignore my cuticles I will be needing to use my nail oil from Treasures by Tan on them.

Here is a bottle shot.

On my middle finger is Chocolate Truffles.

Now this one makes my tummy growl every time I say it. It is a beautiful chocolate brown truffle color holo. Now when you are so up close it sometimes blurs some of the holo but you can see the bouncing holo though. That is due to the awesomeness of the color. So when you see this you are like yummy.

Here is a bottle shot.

We have Beach Bonfire on my index finger.

This one is the last one in the Falling For You Collection. Beach Bonfire is a perfect name for it. It reminds me of bonfires during the summer. Now where I live it would be in the farms or forest. We are not lucky to have a beach close to here. It also reminds me of sunsets I have seen in the past.

This is another the holo was so much the holo made part of the nail blurred. You can once again see the holo bouncing off the nail too. All pictures are in the sunlight but I can tell you all polishes did bounce in non sunlight too. I personally love photographing all polishes in the sun. At least while we have sun.

Here is a bottle shot of Beach Bonfire

For the final color is on my thumb is Jager Bomb.

I will apologize when I went to set this up I didn't notice the miss spelling on the name. Tanya I am so sorry about that. I have it corrected in the bottle shot. I will say this between beach bonfire and sand dunes. It is more brown than Sand Dunes and not as coppery as Beach Bonfire. I will say getting a holo picture on thumb is hard. Here is the best I could get. Now with that said it has as much holo as the others ones don't let that fool you.

All her nail polish worn wonderfully. I had them one a little longer than I normally would. They dry super fast too that is a bonus when you have kids. Yeah. I love the golden bronze color of this holo.

Here is the bottle shot of Jager Bomb

Now I will have more of this brand of products to showcase on my blog at a later date.

@TreasuresByTan at Instagram

Please go check her out. Remember she not only has polish, body products, nail products but also things for kids too. Hint hint. Thank you to the lovely Tanya for being patient with me on getting this up here. Once again I am getting the hang of this and going a little fast. Tell her I sent you too.

I will leave you with one more picture. In this picture it shows holo indoors too.

All of these polishes are $9.50 her polishes range from $8.50 to $10.00.
For best results, please give your bottle a good shake or roll before using as some settling may occur overtime or during shipping. Each bottle has at least 2 stainless steel balls to help with the mixing. They are also 3 Free (they contain no Toluene, Formaldehyde or DBP) and cruelty free.

All of the pictures have been done by Coloure My Obsessions and are the property of Coloure My Obsessions. All pictures will be available to any polish or beauty product indie makers who made the product being reviewed. All reviews are once again my opinions and only mine.

Treasures By Tan

This next review is two parts. I have the first part with nail and body products. The second part is nail polish neutrals. I have taken more time with this review and pictures than I had in the past. I am finally figuring out how I want things to layout and look. I will try not to be long. I will tell you next one should be up in a couple of days.

Tanya from https://www.etsy.com/shop/treasuresbytan  I feel honored every time I get permission to review their products. I am the first to be asked and will be showing some other products other than nail polish. We have a nail file, body soap yummy, and cuticle nail oil.

Now you see a teaser of what we have. Here is a picture of how things come to you shipped. She takes a lot of care in her packaging too.

The first is cotton candy smelling body soap with glitters too. It is shaped in the dragonfly. I will tell you it makes you hungry. It is so easy too use. You can either use it on wash cloth or your hands lathers nicely. I hope you all give this a try I was so pleasantly happy.

I don't know about you ladies but the big thing lately is glass nail files. Until lately I had never heard of it and then I was like WHAT Glass gritter on my nails. I am so proud to say I am now a converter from metal files to glass. To me it seems you get more of a smooth shaping than a metal file. I am forever changed. If you have not tried one please go try out Treasures by Tan.

The last thing in this review. Please remember all review are only my thoughts. Part of this was purchased by me for discount or was blogger package.

This is something to be honest I haven't been very faithful in using in the past on my nails. I would when I would push cuticles back but not use an oil all the time. I fell in love the scent is not strong and is pleasant. It is a cuticle oil in a roller ball. It rolls on over nail polish or naked nails. I have used this on a child too. Something to think about is people who have very dry nail or cuticles hmm feet would be great use too. I would say this is a product to think about all the men in your life. Maybe think about car mechanics and men who use their hands a lot like farmers too.

I am going to sign off and will be back with part 2 shortly with the other part of this review. Neutral nail polishes. Make sure you check out https://www.etsy.com/shop/treasuresbytan or her facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/TreasuresByTan3 ...

Please make sure you are following me and if you have suggestions feel free to leave comments. When you leave comments that is how I know what I need to do better to provide great information about a product to you. I am always try to give little teasers of what is to come on my facebook page at. www.facebook.com/colouremyobsessions

Polish Yer Hooves

Polish Yer Hooves by Leigh Anne

I have to say she has been very patient with me. I have had an ill house and not been able to get on to put her post. I first appreciate this more than she can know. She is such a sweet and fun person to work with. I hope she will forgive me on this. I know I did this publicly but I figure she deserves to know how truly I am sorry for being this far behind.

Now with that said lets get to these beautiful polishes. I have many more but today we will showcase 3 ... they are
Divine Bovine
Moove' em Home, Boys!
Save Da Udders

Let's take a look at the first one Divine Bovine. Below you can see something different and fun I did.  I used Divine Bovine and Save Da Udders for this.

This is Divine Bovine and Save Da Udders out in the sun.
This is Divine Bovine and Save Da Udders out of the sun and in the shade.
What I have done here is used Save Da Udders and tipped it off with Divine Bovine. I wanted to show you how you could make it look like a different type of french manicure.
Here you can see I used the Divine Bovine and tipped it off with Save Da Udders. I did this in a very thin coat of the Save Da Udders. The pictures above have a top coat on them. With a top coat smooth as can be. There is hardly any grit to them.

Top Coat was brought to us by Carpe Noctem Cosmetics https://www.etsy.com/listing/166973925/glitterslayer-glitter-smoothing-topcoat?ref=shop_home_active it is called Glitterslayer. I have had Carpe Noctem Cosmetics on here before. I will be making a separate blog on this later to show it's uses.

I am holding Save Da Udders and on my index and ring finger is Moove 'em Home, Boys! You can see the pink have great coverage and is opaque is 1 to 2 coats. The staying power of these polishes will knock your socks off.
This is three coats completely opaque the only reason you are not seeing more holo is way my finger was trying to get the sun.
Here is two coats you can start to see more holo coming through.
Here we have one coat. Pink and holo glitter it does have a little grit factor but a top coat of Carpe Noctem Cosmetics works well with it.
Save Da Udders is my Awareness nail polish for Breast Cancer Awareness. $2.00 of this polish is being donated to Breast Cancer Research. My Nana had breast cancer. She had a mastectomy and lost 1 udder, I mean breast. She took it in stride, though. My Nana saw it as an excuse to not wear a bra ever again!

Save Da Udders is a pink polish with a lot of sparkle!! I like sparkles. There is no better way to celebrate the boobies than by making them shine! Or your nails at least. Once dry this polish does have a nice shine, but it does have a gritty feel to the top, you will definitely want a top coat over it.

Please choose a scent if you would like to try one. There is no extra charge for it! Treat yourself to a nice light fragrance!
Every polish is made in small batches with the best ingredients I can find. Everything made is a product I would wear as well as allow my mama and daughter's to wear, including my pregnant daughter!

Feel free to contact me with any questions and I will be more than happy to answer them for you.
This is from directly on her page. I feel it is important to have it direct and not myself paraphrase it.

Now lets see how the yellow did. It is called Moove 'em Home, Boys!
This is 4 coats. I did 3 coats without hearts and then did fourth coat and added hearts then. It is easier if you do a couple good coverage coats and let dry before you try to get hearts to lay down. Once I did this perfect nail polish. It looks good with my skin tone. This polish is a yellow shimmer jelly and has yellow hearts. There is also gold micro glitter in this too. Just the micro glitter give this something extra special va va voom. This picture was in shade.
I have put 3 coats on this nail. I did 2 coats and the third one has the hearts. As you can see I did three hearts on the tip of my nail. I fell it is a little different than what most would do with hearts in the bottle. This picture was in shade.
A better shot this is in the sun. You can see the light bouncing off the glitter. You also can see how nicely the hearts lay too.

Leigh Anne from Polish Yer Hooves. She gives back with Moove 'em Home, Boys! Dedicated to Our Military! And Those of Us Who Love Them.

<3 This polish is dedicated to the men and women serving in the U.S. Military. With every bottle sold, $2.00 will be donated to Our Military Kids. I was an Air Force Brat before I was a Veteran, I truly believe in this program. Our Military Kids provides substantial support in the form of grants to the children of National Guard and Military Reserve personnel who are currently deployed overseas, as well as the children of Wounded Warriors in all branches. The grants pay for participation in extracurricular activities and tutoring programs that nurture and sustain children while a parent is away in service to our country or recovering from injury.

Oh!! Choose a fragrance you might like, or leave it as it. With just this polish, I'm offering the scent free. Try something you like for a light scent to you nails!

All products used in the creation of polishes are cruelty free and never tested on animals. My animals choose their own colors. This quote is brought to us from her page.

I have shown different ways to wear or show her polishes. These polishes all wear so well and long time too. I know mine were on over a week with doing daily chores. Why don't you hop on over to her page and show her some love especially with these two whom go to a great cause. Don't forget to add and scrumptous scent to any bottle you get from her. Polish Yer Hooves has so many to choose from it is going to be hard, but I am sure you can find one or maybe get another color too.

Philly <3's Lacquer

I want to first start off by saying Philly's <3's has been another big supporter of me. I was on the fence to starting a blog, but she was there and gave me the courage to do this. She has given many helpful ideas or answered questions. So from the bottom of my heart thank you.

Let's get this party started. First off I am behind on Philly nail polish. I am sorry about this. Philly <3's is a polish maker from the east coast. So there is a little story behind glitter tits and skittle tits. Someone told her when she was making the polish or should I say being a magician creating theses beauties in her laboratory.
Philly mentioned it to a few of us one day in one of the groups the story. Of course we all laughed at the comment of you have glitter on your tits. So thinking I was being funny. I suggested to make polishes and name them this. I told her if she did I would buy it. Not thinking she would actually do this, but she did. So with some of us making the comments to her telling us the story. She gave life to Glitter Tits and Skittle Tits.

This will be picture heavy to show all the qualities of these polishes.
No Sun
All Adrian's are with two coats
No sun.
Pinky is proto but basically Adrian opaque in two coats. I would consider this a robin egg blue with gold shimmer.
No sun
Right finger is Glitter Tits Two coats. Glitter Tits has light blue base. Has finely glitter with purple square gold and blue circles pieces. There is also blue and purple bars. This is perfect glitter bomb on its own or on top of other colors. I believe it would look good over white too. I will try that next time.
No sun
Middle finger has Adrian on as base and Glitter Tits on top of it. One coat Glitter Tits
No sun
Index finger Skittle Tits Two coats. Skittle Tits light blue base. There also is blue, green, orange and pink these are all florescent hex colors. Pink and blue squares with very fine glitter.
No sun
Thumb Adrian and Skittle Tits over it. One coats Skittle Tits.

Adrian

Skittle Tits up close. You can see all the glitter pieces that make up this bottle better.

Glitter Tits up close. As you can see up close all the different sizes of glitters.

This one we get a little sun.

All the colors wear nicely. What I like is the glitter toppers can and could be used over neon's to whites. You can have fun playing with glitter tits and skittle tits and Adrian color. $2 from each bottle of Glitter Tits and Skittle Tits went to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. All polishes brought to us from Philly's is 4 free.
Esther with Philly's <3's Lacquer is always coming up with new ideas and styles. I have thoroughly enjoyed being able to bring to you some of the many colors she has. I am so glad a joke in our group room has become fruitful nail polish. Be looking for All Holo's Eve Collection.
