It is that time of the season for the 21 days of beauty sale. This is the best time to try new things out or try something out for the first time. Most items during the sale are going to be at least 50% off and maybe even higher. In the past, I have picked up great new things that I have now in my routine I use or rotate in. I will put up daily the deal. I will do another post with bonus discounted items.

While back before Toy R Us/Baby R Us shut down they had this same deal option. They did trade-in first once a year and later on twice a year once in March and other time September. They allowed car seats, boosters, pack-play, highchairs.
When stores do this it's nice for new parents or grandparents a way to try to save money on things the baby will be needing. Another thing to think about is signing up for the baby registry. Keep in mind your information may be passed to companies that are baby-related products, but to me, that is when I got the best deals.

All types of car seats, including infant car seats, convertible car seats, car seat bases, harness or booster car seats, as well as car seats that are expired or damaged.
Target has dropped off boxes in Target for unwanted car seats located near Guest Services.

You can redeem the coupon of 20% off online or in-store and this is good for another day. Expires September 14, 2019. Bonus the coupon can be stacked with existing baby sale items, such as 10% off select car seats.

You might be asking yourself what happens with the car seats that we trade-in? The materials from the old car seats will be recycled by whoever is Target's partner. The Company Waste Management creates new products such as pallets, plastic buckets and construction materials such as steel beams and carpet padding.
So even if you don't want to get a coupon. You could do some good by donating an old car seat. If you don't want to keep it this is a great idea to get it out of your home. While it is getting recycled and not just rotting out in a landfill.
I had to look this up to find out when did Target jump on doing the baby trade-in sale? According to the Target site, they started this program in April 2016. Since the program launched, more than 789,000 car seats, or 11.98 million pounds of car seats, have been recycled. This is a great thing for helping the earth's health.
