Rainbow Generator by Carpe Noctem Cosmetics

Hello again Obsessionista's Good Morning today polish is press sample. Carpe Noctem Cosmetics sent me this polish to review for you with my order.  This polish just blew me away. It is up now for pre-ordering. Carpe Noctem Cosmetics is located in the United States.

I just wanted to add to make sure you are following me on Instagram. I know I haven't posted in a couple of months. I have now gotten a new phone and am still figuring it out. I will start posting again very soon. I will also be adding a new light box pictures to the mix of my photos too. Thank you to my loyal Obsessionista's out there.

I can honestly say this one had so much holo in itself my camera had so much trouble focusing. I would call this a light silver with touches of pink and purple shifts. I didn't see it in everyone but I did see it. This polish is also giving me double rainbows in a few pictures. I have never had a polish give me a double rainbow.

Outside Full Sun

I have used one coat on my index finger. Middle finger four coats as you can see the more you add the deep the depth of the holo and color. Ring and pinky are three coats. So as you can see with this polish depending on how many or thick of coats will depend on the deepness of the color.

I plan on using this again for a french manicure. I love this one and will purchase a big one for a back up. Great job Carpe Noctem Cosmetics. You could also do stamping with this one. If you want to use it for stamping I would highly suggest that you stamp over a cream or flat polish color.

I would like send out a thank you for letting me show this to you. Remember this is now available for preorders. Now on a personal note. Carpe Noctem Cosmetics was another company who suggested last year for me to start a blog. This company was one show cased during my first few blog posts.

Lady Diana by Bear Pawlish

Welcome Obsessionista's today we have one polish made by Bear Pawlish. Bear Pawlish is located in the United States. You will see pictures taken in indirect light and outside.  I have not had a lot of sun lately, so I am working with what I have been blessed with lately. This will be a quick post to show you pictures of Lady Diana indoor and outdoor lights. I have used Nailnation3000 High Gloss Top Coat. I have to say personally my favorite top coat I have used so far. I also used a base coat.  The formula is 5 free polish.  This polish was purchased by myself. I would consider this a custom color. If this is something you absolutely love let me know or the store owner know. I can't say for sure but sometimes when something is highly wanted. You just might see it in the next restock or she might be able to make you one too. Please do not hold me to that.

Lady Diana

This color in my opinion is close to peek a boo. I call this a bright almost neon pink. My color has blue shimmer with pink and blue glitters shimmer. It is a holo with also a blue shift in the flame  I would have to say when I asked for something so close to peek a boo she has surpassed my thoughts. If you know me this is just the perfect one for me. She really nailed it with this color for me.

Outdoors with cloudy skies with flash.

Outside with cloudy skies and with flash.

Light box with flash. You can see the shift of the blue coming this the middle of the nails along with the blue shimmer glitters.

Light box with out flash. Now in this picture you can see the blue rainbow in the middle of the nails.

As always I enjoy this polish maker and also a pleasant time to review any of their polishes. I did all the colors with three coats but the middle finger had four coats to achieve full opacity.  I will be having more of the Bear Pawlish on the blog in the future. I love the formula and the company's customer service.

Below is directly from the Bear Pawlish site about their polishes. Each polish is $10 a piece. Custom polish will be more depending on the polish you want on how much it will be minimum $14. Just a reminder polishes from the Bear Pawlish site.

Each bottle is poured to order. Most are hand mixed in the bottle. Each bottle will be unique to you. As I also do custom orders and do very small batch or single bottle orders. Please allow 1-14 days for processing.

Unless otherwise noted all Bear Pawlishes are 5 free.. Meaning they are free of the toxic properties- Dibutyl Phthalate, Toluene, Formaldehyde or Formaldehyde Resin. They are also Vegan and Cruelty Free.

LUUUX Brushes / 12 piece set

Hello again Obsessionista's today on the blog we have some make up brushes which are a press sample. LUUUX  is a company with different things on their site.  I had the honor of being picked to review this brush set. All pictures were taken with light box and indirect light. You will see in this post each individual brush.

Coloure My Obsessions Disclaimer
I feel I need to add a disclaimer on how I take care of my brushes. Whether they are makeup brushes or nail art brushes. I would highly suggest you wash your brushes before you use it the first time. There could be dust or other things from the factory in the bristles. You would need to clean your brushes once a week after that if you use them on a regular basis. Take into consideration that if you have been ill your brushes will require a more frequent cleaning till you are feeling much better. Remember bacteria collects in the brushes. So if you have an eye cold and use your brushes then they have been in contact with your eyes which can keep illnesses coming back if not cleaned properly.

I use a mild soap with no fragrance.  When you are cleaning out your brushes make sure you put the brush in the palm of your hand and swish back in forth in your hand. Then you take the brush and use your hand cupped around the brush and lightly pull down while holding the brush with bristles to rinse out the brush. Easy way to let water run through it. Once you have clear water then take your hand down one last time to shape your brush. Make sure you try hang dry it if not an option. You take the brush and lay it down on towel to absorb the water. Make sure you come back 45 minutes to 1 hour and flip the brush.

How the brushes arrived.

On the soft leather brush case is embossed with the logo.

Out of package

You have a nice soft leather case with a flap to protect your brushes. For when not in use.

You even have extra slots for other brushes.

L 150--Powder Brush a big fluffy one to use for applying powder. Also a brush for blending out your whole face.

L 187--Contouring Brush is the one that I had the most difficult with bristles falling out.  I am not sure if a manufacture defect or just how the brush is. You can see in picture above the black in the white brush area. That is the bristles that fell out.

L 116--Cheek or Blush Brush. This one you would use for applying your cheek/blush shade to your cheeks.

L 190--Foundation Brush. This brush would be great for applying liquid or cream foundation. I highly suggest using a brush when applying foundation.

L 224--Crease brush. I would use this brush to apply a dark shade to your crease of  eye. Use the brush in a windshield wiper movement back in forth in the crease.

L 239--Shell Brush. This would be used for highlighter or mid-tone eyeshadow. You can used this brush also to blend out your whole eye shadow look.

L 195--Fine thin shell liner brush. I would do lining under the eye. It is thin enough to use under the eye.

L 217--Large Smudger Brush. I would use this for Smokey eye look.

L 242--Small Shell Brush. I would use this if you are wanting to layer colors up.

L 219-- Small Smudger Brush. This can be used for more intense smokey look or under the eye.

L 208--Eyeliner or Brown Liner. You could use this two ways. Eyeliner under the eye for smokey look. The other option is brown liner. To complete your look you use a mid tone brown and then small brush strokes go over the line of the brow.

L 316--Lip Brush or Liner Brush. You use this for the very end of your lipstick. Outline your lips with this. They other thing most won't think of is to pick your favorite gloss. For a smooth look.

As you can see in the above picture some of the loose brush bristles. This is the only one I had issues with. The rest of the set was great to use.

Powder Brush with loaded mineral powder.

You can see how well it blended in this photo.

Cheek or Blush brush loaded with cheek color.

You can see how well it blended in the photo.

Shell brush with loaded mineral eyeshadow.

You can see how well it blended the white eyeshadow.

Crease brush with loaded mineral eyeshadow.

You can see the product on my hand. All the brushes minus the white contour brush went on smoothly.

I know I didn't talk about it in this post but you could use a few of the brushes for nail art.
