Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) sounds like something you would encounter in a chemistry class. In reality, they’re natural compounds that occur in slightly acidic foods such as fruits and some forms of sugar. While AHAs can be produced synthetically in a lab, OZNaturals always chooses natural vegan sources instead. As evidenced by their name, AHAs are an acid rather than a base. Due to their molecular structure, their primary mechanism in skin care is exfoliation. AHAs really get in there and unglue all those pesky dull, dead skin cells from the surface and below, leaving the skin with a fresh, glowing surface.
