Good evening and Welcome to the weekend! Hello again Obsessionista's today we have a custom that was made for a group of us. I will show you for the first time ever me trying out taping. Smitten Polish and NailNation 3000 both ship in the USA and internationally. In this blog post you will see all pictures with base and top coats. Coral-I-See by Smitten I did two coats of polish. The formula is 3 free polish and so is NailNation 3000. The coral-I-See was a random act of kindness sent to me and black purchased by me. Thank you to my Angel out there for this Smitten.
Coral-I-See and Black
Taken with light box and no flash
The owner of Smitten Polish made a group of us a custom one of a kind polish. I have another she made that will be on the blog in the very near future.
This is a perfect coral not to orange or to pink like some corals could be. Coral-I-See is a coral with some blue shimmer flakes in it. It is a sheer polish so it did take me three good coats with this one. I almost could of went four coats. Now if you are looking for a sheer or want to try a jelly sandwich with this it would work. I did Coral-I-See on all of the fingers.
In this picture it is partly cloudy day outside.
Now the index is done with Smitten Polish Coral-I-See and then I laid down three pieces of tape diagonal on the nail. After that I went back and painted the whole index nail black. Now the waiting game which is hard, you want to take it off immediately but you need to wait. You wait until the black is semi dry so you can take the tape off without chunks of nail polish coming off with it. When I pulled off (which keep in mind has to be done very slowly and carefully) the tape you can see the results of the Coral-I-See underneath it. I think it really pops the color. I have to give credit to Ashley and Gretchen for suggesting the black with the tape. I did not invent this design and nor do I know who did.
Outside peaking sun
Far left is outside in sun. Middle is nail art. Far right is in light box.
That is all for this lovely polish review. I hope you enjoyed my review!
